This retreat is designed with intention—balancing moments of exploration with room to simply be.
Mornings
Start your day with a relaxed breakfast overlooking the sea. Some mornings bring a guided nature walk or market visit; others invite quiet reflection, journaling, or solitude with a view.
Afternoons
Afternoons are open and spacious. You might explore a new corner of the island, pause for rest, or gather for gentle group sessions and shared conversation. One day may include a full-day excursion to experience Madeira’s dramatic northern coast.

Evenings

Five group dinners are included—slow, generous meals filled with conversation, flavor, and warmth. One night may feature a cooking workshop, while others invite toasts at sunset or quiet circles beneath the stars.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I arrive?
The retreat begins mid-to-late afternoon on May 1. If you’re flying from North America or a long-haul destination, we suggest arriving a day early to rest and acclimate. We’re happy to assist with early accommodations at Estalagem or a nearby guesthouse.
What’s included?
Six nights of ocean-view accommodations, daily breakfasts, five group dinners, curated cultural and nature-based experiences, group transportation (including airport transfers), and facilitation throughout the retreat. Plus, thoughtful gifts and welcome touches.
What’s not included?
Flights, travel insurance, some meals, personal expenses, and optional services such as spa treatments.
Can I come solo?
Absolutely. Many participants attend alone. The retreat is designed to foster connection, reflection, and ease—whether you come solo or with a friend, daughter, or sister.

Will I receive a full itinerary?

Yes. A complete schedule will be provided in early 2026, outlining daily plans and excursions.

Can I extend my stay?

Yes. Whether you're looking to spend time in Lisbon or unwind in Funchal post-retreat, we’re happy to help coordinate accommodations and suggestions.

What is the cancellation policy?

A $500 deposit secures your place and is non-refundable.If you cancel before February 1, 2026, all other payments will be refunded.After that date, payments are non-refundable but may be transferred to another guest with prior approval.Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unexpected changes or cancellations.
